Light Headed

Blake completed a landscape this week.  The piece is a bit of an oddity as, for the past year - he has been primarily focused on figure-based imagery.

The original (as well as prints*) is available on his Saatchi Page

Light Headed (2013) by Blake Peterson [Edition of 10]

* available as: (1) resin coated, satin luster finish photo paper; (2) museum quality, cotton matte paper; or (3) as canvas prints on a 1 1/4 in stretched frame

New Litho and a Print!

I just finished three more litho's for the print portion of the "Truckdriver Series"...

I did an alternate, litho version of "Birdman of Athens" (which for some reason was incredibly hard to properly photograph - btw), a follow up image to that story, and another print that relates to the "Lot Lizard" image.  Below is also a giclee print that completes the print portion of the "Truckdriver Series".  All that I need to do now is: sort through my 500 + photographs & edit them down to no more than 50, and edit the video portions... and it'll be ready for installation!

The photo's and everything will be up on the blog shortly...

Blake's New Prints

Blake has been meaning to post photos of these prints.  They are all from his 'Truckdriver Series' - which still doesn't have a proper, final title btw.  He finished them about two weeks ago in Glasgow before his big trip back to the States for vacation..

Another squiggly drawing

Well, we're hemming the scarves slowly but surely. Each scarf will have a hand-rolled hem, which means scarves will be done in about 2 weeks, and we'll be posting them to Etsy.
Here's a new drawing.

New Image for the GSA Auction

Zoe and I just finished a new collaborative image for the Glasgow School of Art December Auction.

The piece is called: "Do you believe in 'the Hereafter'? Then you know what I'm here after!"

The image is a combination of lithographic printing (the figure in the center) and Pen & Ink Washes.  The background is based from Zoe's landscape photography taken in Iceland.

It's 50cm wide x 70 cm tall, and - of course... looks much better in person.
