FOAMLESS = HOMELESS PREVIEW SHOTS (Round 2)
Hello, as I've alluded to before, I've been working an a big sculpture involving dollhouses and spray foam. The piece is still in progress, but I thought it would be nice to show some photos of how it's coming. The foam part is done, next step is furnishing my houses!

Zoe and Blake have also been collaborating on a series of short videos, mostly stop-motion animation...
This is a short preview of one of their videos. The audio was simplified a bit for the purposes of the youtube video; when in a gallery / open space - each noise will be broadcast from separate speaker systems, creating a (rather disturbing) surround-sound experience*. Also, of course - as it's youtube, the resolution of the video was lowered.
This will be a part of a much larger, longer video work...
* Basically having the smacking / digestive sounds coming from either side of the viewer as they enter the space, with the two voices in the center.

Those two images
...so you might have noticed, in the last post - there were two images in the photographs from Red Bistro, that weren't posted earlier here on the blog.
Blake constructed and printed them while still in San Francisco, and didn't have a chance to put them up on the blog.
(Just as a note - the first image, when printed did not have the white border around the perimeter... it's a 'bleed print' like the second image)
Just as a reminder - if you like any of Blake or Zoe's work... just send us an email, and we'll get back to you swiftly... And - we will be updating our etsy site (and possibly something extra as well) soon... mega post coming up in the next few days...

Jet Lag
A few more new things...
Blake is back in Glasgow, working on a few new projects (including getting over horrible jet lag) & Zoe is finishing up her house piece* and starting up a few new courses
*we have a few preview photo's of this but we didn't want to overload this one post with too many pictures...
Back on Friday, Blake installed his series of new prints (including two new images he drew in San Francisco) at Red Bistro.
Here are some photo's of them at the location...

Happy New Year!!!
Hi everyone -
So some updates ...
I'm visiting San Francisco to check out the area with Zoe, get to know the city, and hopefully land some potential work for when I move out here after I'm done with the MFA program in Glasgow.
In the meantime, I'm working on my dissertation (outline's due on Wednesday) and it looks like I *will* be showing some of my new work in Des Moines before I go back to Glasgow (fingers crossed)
Photo's from San Francisco coming soon... but here's a bit of a preview of what will be shown in Iowa... It will be a set of lithographs and giclee prints, each is about two feet wide by three feet tall
