Although it no longer exists as a conceptual entity, it's interesting to discover that people are still stumbling upon this blog while researching our current projects. 

Established in 2006 by me (Blake), working with a rotating group of artists, The Grocery was a creative design label that boasted a diverse houseline of products, including printed silk scarves, bespoke tops, prints, and design objects.

Our Awesome Kitchen!!!

If you haven't been following either of Zoe or I on instagram (and you really should, btw), you may not have heard about our most recent project.  We hated the walls in our kitchen, which were plastered with faded, stained pages from an outdated atlas.  So, we decided to make and install our own wallpaper!  The design is a pattern of glitter and rock candy.  To create the pattern, we scanned in actual pieces of candy & glitter, so the wallpaper has a really cool 3-D effect to it.

SOFT MATTER in Manchester!

Some of Blake's work is going to be a part of the group exhibition, Soft Matter in Manchester, UK!  

Several of his illustrations were selected to be included in a hardback book, produced specifically for this event.  

The book contains the works of 15 artists and 13 writers (28 in all), responding to the theme for the exhibition.  The show takes place between 6th - 8th of May; after the event, a reprinted magazine edition of the publication will be available.

Zoe and I have been busy uploading new designs and patterns to our Print All Over Me Page!

Zoe and I have been setting up our own in-house screen printing studio, making new animated videos, and drawings, amongst many other things.  We try and update our pages on a daily basis with new material, as we're working on it.

We have a new shop!

We were also given the opportunity to be a featured brand on a great new website, Lective.co.  It's an online marketplace where you can shop directly from the lookbooks, OOTDs, floor sets, looks of the day, and other cool content that brands and stores photograph & upload daily.  There's also a nice marketplace where you can even mix-and-match brands.  

But wait - there's MORE!

AAAnnnddd.... not only that - we opened up a shop on Print All Over Me! 

Zoe and I have purchased material from them before, and really liked the experience.  By choosing to work with them, we can very quickly take our patterns & format them for many different types of apparel
