I was talking to Zoe the other day that we should do at least one more "pattern" scarf, and she asked what I thought it should be...
and I said: "How about a sexual innuendo scarf?"
She didn't get what I meant at first, so I was like - well, let's just put bananas and doughnuts in a repeating pattern all over a scarf. I described how the doughnuts should look - no bear claws, no eclairs, just simple round shapes with some frosting and mmmaybe sprinkles and gave random ideas about the bananas.
Zoe quickly drew up the pattern and I went down to the studio and printed it onto one of our new 'jersey' scarves.
Also - we got a message on our etsy site about a special order... The other photographs are of a 'prototype version' of how we'd do a navy scarf with white cranes. Because of our process, we can't print white. However, we can print the negative space a solid color, and use the cream background for the images. Although, we can print black cranes onto a navy piece of fabric.
