Redux...

The Glasgow School of Art MFA Degree Show is slowly approaching (I'll be documenting install / prep work starting this Wednesday through the show itself)... so I've decided to share a few images of prints that almost certainly will be included as a part of my submission... 


Each is a slight reworking of a previously 'finished' work - which is why they look familiar. 


I should add; reworking/ revising finished material is not something that I normally do, but I was dissatisfied how each looked when printed onto paper (hence the tweaking of the color & a little of the line.)

Two Shows

This past weekend I was involved in two different shows here in Glasgow.  


I was an exhibiting finalist for the Chalet Prize, for my piece "Sheepish [Jen; Iowa City]."


It is an exhibition and award, celebrating excellence in fine art. Finalists are chosen from an open call by a panel of guest judges and The Chalet curatorial team. All finalists are exhibited in The Chalet during this year's Streetland Festival. 


Zoe & my collaborative piece "Lost Sheep In Glasgow" was also installed from Thursday May 3rd through Saturday the 5th at the Arches, as a part of No Man's Land, which was commissioned by the Mutual in association with Glasgow International Festival of Visual Art 2012.  


Also, this week I should have some preview images for what will be going into the Glasgow School of Art MFA Degree Show, before I begin installation.

New Videos

Between adding more images to my print series, and working on my sculpture piece, I decided to work on another 'infinite loop' stop-motion video (much like the ones found here and here). This time, I posted two different (low resolution) edits of the piece.  


Each has a different soundtrack, and there are more effects / visual edits on version number two...
